Papa’s session was spent feeding Nathan. Holding the spoon up his eyes promotes eye contact. The high energy level, singing and dancing helps sustain attention span. Good Job Papa!

First Son-Rise Team Meeting
We just had a team meeting and it really felt rejuvenating to know that there is help around. I especially liked how at the members were giving each other ideas on how be more creative for Nathan. At the end of the meeting Annette said so accurately, “It takes a village to raise a child!”
Good days and not-so-good days
There are good days and not-so-good days. While I would prefer only to post great videos of my son, I guess it is just fare to have people peek into the not-so-good-days. So here it is. As I view this video again, I myself have realizations and identify changes to be made. Like although pjs are the most comfortable things in the world, I should welcome the day and get out of my night suit before entering my son’s son-rise room 😀
It only takes a balloon to get out a lot of speech
I no longer have to cue Nathan, he will find the words he needs to get me to do what he wants. If he makes a mistake, I still reward his attempt to create sentences and use words to communicate, then help him structure his sentence again.
Silly Acts
Today, Nathan seemed interested in playing so we decided to do something silly.
