Growing Son-Rise Community

What an amazing batch of students from TJC! In April Autism Awareness Month, they asked Embrace Autism what they could do to help families with children with autism. They asked if they could help families by fundraising and we shared what parents really needed: Son-Rise volunteers to do play therapy with their children; Volunteers who are willing to commit 4 hours a week for 6 months to build a relationship with our kids and encouragethem to socialise.

These students went out of their way, beyond school requirements, campaigning and informing other students about autism and how they could make a different in these children’s lives. Look how many more students they recruited to volunteer for so many more Son-Rise families! And look at how deeply they have helped other students appreciate and understand autism by the messages they left on their autism tree!

We are so blessed by the this growing Son-Rise Community!
